Citymates is an online dating community serving 55 million users worldwide.
The client was looking to increase engagement on the platform with existing users and increase new membership sign ups. Citymates lacked a social media presence, and was investing in ad spend with little return. They needed to improve subscription renewals and optimize their paid advertising program to increase new membership sign ups.
We implemented a hybrid social media campaign to improve organic engagement and optimize ad spend through social channels. The goal was to grow and engage an audience of singlines online, as well as to improve renewals of the subscription service. The campaign guaranteed a minimum audience reach, and ensured that only a relevant audience would see Citymates’ ads.
We built a social media presence from scratch, boosting overall user engagement with the Citymates business page. Using a combination of internal and Facebook analytics, we were able to refine audience targeting overtime, reaching 1k+ fans for the page in just two months.
